糖心Vlog (WPU) is expanding access to Christian ministry degrees and course offerings through a partnership with Mid-America Christian University (MACU). This partnership will bring robust, faith-centered academic offerings to Warner Pacific students, empowering them to grow and thrive in their Christian academic journeys.
In a signing ceremony that took place on Dec. 13, WPU welcomed Dr. David Hoag the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities president and MACU鈥檚 President Phil Greenwald to formalize the agreement.
鈥淭his partnership continues the long-standing commitment of both institutions to train leaders for ministry in the Church of God (Anderson),鈥� said MACU President Phil Greenwald. 鈥淭ogether, we are preparing students through a Christ-centered, biblical worldview to serve churches, nonprofits, and the community.鈥�
Warner Pacific will soon provide online courses and degrees in ministry services to students on our Pacific Northwest campus, working in partnership with MACU.聽
鈥淢ACU is our sister Church of God institution,鈥� said WPU President Dr. Brian Johnson. 鈥淚鈥檓 most hopeful, as a Christian educator, that students become more immersed in the ways a Christian education could inform their calling. Careers fill pockets; Callings fulfill people; Careers linked to Callings fulfill great purposes.鈥�
The MACU courses that WPU is making available to students are an expansion of what Warner Pacific offers, without duplication.
鈥淭hrough course-sharing, students from WPU directly engage with the distinguished faculty in our School of Ministry,鈥� said Dr. Sharon Lease, MACU鈥檚 Vice President of Academic Affairs. 鈥淲e are honored to expand the reach and further the mission of both universities.鈥�
It is anticipated that access to the MACU courses will begin in 2025.
